Following its strategic plan, Madeira´s Tourism Office strengthens its presence in the Spanish tourist market through a new alliance with The Blueroom Project, to promote tourism of this Atlantic Island among the Spanish media. After becoming its agency in charge of trade relationships since May 2021, now The Blueroom Project will have as an objective to show and communicate all the beauty, nature, experiences, gastronomy, and lifestyle that this Portuguese archipelago offers to all targets. Madeira has been selected for 7 consecutive years (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 y 2021), as “the best island in the world” by the World Travel Awards™, a distinction that demonstrates its safety and its appeal to all audiences.
And all this just over 2 hours in a direct fly from Spain as well as extended air connectivity to different Spanish places through a direct flight from Madrid, Málaga, Santiago, Bilbao, and Almeria during summer.
