Autumn is a time to share and show the traditions of the Ibizan municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu. For example, the village of Sant Carles de Peralta has two important events: on the one hand, on October, 28 it will celebrate the VII edition of the Squid Gastronomic Fair, organized by the Fishermen’s Guild of Ibiza and Formentera, with entertainment and tasty bites around the mollusk. On the other hand, its patronal and saint festivities, which revive ancient rites and customs with celebrations, dances, parades, open-air concerts, sports events and gastronomy that serve to show the most authentic Ibiza in the month of November. The day closes with pyrotechnics as the protagonist and the “correfoc”, a group of dancing demons with flares in their hands that will put the finishing touch (and fire) to one of the great autumn festivals in Santa Eulària.
