- Around a hundred people were able to learn about the new travel products from Thailand at the Shangri-La Hotel in Chiang Mai.
- The congress included half-day activities and day trips to discover the main attractions of the city and beyond which hosts 5 million tourists each year.
The 5th Annual Congress of CEAV, the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies, was held in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, from November 17 to 19. The participants had the opportunity, during the 3 days, to discover the destination with various excursions that included topics such as nature, wellness, gastronomy or local handicrafts.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand had an active participation in the development of this project that gathered around 100 attendees in the northern capital, which every year welcomes the visit of about 5 million tourists.
During the official presentation of the destination at Shangri-La hotel, the attendees had the opportunity to learn about the new travel products such as plane or helicopter rides to contemplate the landscape, visits to Lampang or Lamphun and different Royal Projects, among many others.
To conclude, different post tours were offered to Bangkok and to the fabulous beaches of Krabi, as well as to the neighboring countries of ASEAN (Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia).
