Hurtigruten Group has received the best ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) rating for a cruise company following an evaluation by Morningstar Sustainalytics, a research, ratings and data company. This rating is the result of its commitment in favor of reducing emissions, nature and people.
Among other actions, the Norwegian shipping company has invested 66 million in emissions reduction during 2022, in addition to implementing a pioneering green bond in the industry that has favored the conversion of its fifth battery-hybrid propulsion ship. Likewise, it is promoting the “Sea Zero” project to create the first most energy-efficient cruise ship in the world. The Blueroom Project has been the communications and marketing agency of Hurtigruten in Spain since 2007.
