For the first time in Europe, the Anaitasuna Pavilion became the stage for a Muay Thai world title fight — the traditional martial art and cultural symbol of Thailand. Spanish fighter Mikel Fernández was crowned world champion in the super bantamweight category after an exciting first-round KO victory over Thai fighter Yodudon Phet Anuwuat.
