The Blueroom Project, official representative of Tourism Thailand in Spain, celebrates the great success of the historic Muay Thai World Final held in Pamplona, where Tourism Thailand was the official sponsor of this iconic sporting event.
For the first time in Europe, the Anaitasuna Pavilion became the stage for a Muay Thai world title fight — the traditional martial art and cultural symbol of Thailand. Spanish fighter Mikel Fernández was crowned world champion in the super bantamweight category after an exciting first-round KO victory over Thai fighter Yodudon Phet Anuwuat.
Tourism Thailand’s involvement in this event is part of its 2025 strategy, focused on positioning sport as a key driver for tourism and culture in the country. The final was not only a sporting and public success but also a strategic step to engage with the Spanish and European markets, showcasing Thailand’s rich cultural and sporting heritage.
As the agency responsible for representing Tourism Thailand in Spain, The Blueroom Project reaffirms its commitment to promoting the country through authentic events that combine sport, tradition, and tourism.
