Introducing an International Luxury Hotel Brand in Spain
CHALLENGE
Introducing the Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts Group as well as their main hotel brands into the Spanish market where they don´t have properties at the moment as well as boosting the brand image among journalists and the general public opinion.
SOLUTION
The Blueroom Project designed and implemented a communications plan for the Spanish market, placing more emphasis on the quality media coverage than on the number of clippings, by means of different actions related to public relations and involving a diversity of partners.
Communications were managed both on an individual basis as a hotel, and also grouped by brands. Banyan Tree and Angsana were the two brands with interests in Spain.
RESULTS
Continuous coverage in the most important Spanish communications media, not only those involved in the Tourism sector, but also in those focused on the end consumer, such lifestyle and travel media: Vogue, Elle, In Style, Traveler, Vanity Fair, Mujer Hoy, Telva, Viajar, Hola, Vanitatis, El Mundo, El Periódico or Cinco Días, among others.
