Costa Rica stands out for being one of the pioneering destinations worldwide for its protection and respect for the environment, in fact, it has implemented sustainability in an integral way, in the socio-cultural, environmental, and economic field, which has allowed tourism to be a dynamic activity of the national economy. Costa Rica can proudly state that it offers more than 6.5% of the world\u2019s biodiversity and has 28% of the world\u2019s protected areas.
