CHALLENGE

Positioning Costa Rica in markets of interest in the medium term as a distinguished, diverse and peaceful tourist destination, a leader in sustainability and suitable to be visited throughout the year.

SOLUTION

The Blueroom Project provides a full range of services for Costa Rica Tourism, including PR services, marketing campaigns in trade relations, tourism fairs and digital campaigns.

The whole strategy was focused on four key aspects: to inform, to educate, to inspire and to create new content to show the wide variety of the destination beyond the nature paradise image of Costa Rica, in addition to other niches such as wellness, luxury or rural tourism, among others.

RESULTS

Significant increase in visitors from Europe.

Over 4000 quality clippings per year with AVE of more than E22,5 million.

Introduction of new products and partners in all markets including new destinations, air connectivity and targeted niche experiences for a variety of travellers.

Best International Destination / Condé Nast Traveler Spain Award (2018).

Best Destination for Adventure Travel / Oxígeno Magazine Award (2017) .
